Monkeys, Tigers, Elephant...

<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<SACRAMENTO ZOO>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

We were lucky enough to get Brandon's parents to come visit. (Not to hard to convince considering we now have their grandchild) While they were visiting we took Tylee to the second zoo she has ever been to. The first visit was to the Hogle Zoo in Utah. We loved it. I probably loved it more than Tylee, but it was so much fun.

Not the best pic but I realized its like the only one of me and Brando at the zoo

Get a baby to look at the camera.... GOOD LUCK

Hey you kids stop that...

Just a Kanga and her Roo..

Around and Around and Around we go again

While being here in the Sunny Cali of course our air conditioning in the good ol avalon had to poop out.... But Tylee doesn't seem to mind one bit.

Addicting Change..

KRaZy CouPoNiNg

So I have been reading this book from the Krazy Coupon Lady and I have been getting paid to take things out of the store, getting free stuff, and/or getting stuff for DIRT cheap. It takes time to do but it is worth it. On sunday I get 2-4 newspapers. Monday I do the clipping and do my CVS shopping. Tuesday is lazy day, Wednesday is planning for the shopping trip on Thursday and Thursday is shopping at RITE AID and Walgreens. I can't believe the things that I have been getting.. It is so awesome and even can be addicting when things work out how you want :)

So far my favorite things I have gotten are free Gillette Fusion Razors and many many toothpaste and mouthwash. I have gotten a normally $25 box of diapers for only $14 and many other great deals. Here is a picture of my first haul.

A lil love for the Santa Cruz

SANTA CRUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

A few weekends ago we took the 2 hour drive from Stockton to Santa Cruz! I LOVE THIS TOWN. While we were in this little beach bum town I seriously was considering dropping everything and moving to this place. I absolutely love it there. All you have to think about is surfing and sleeping. (well paying rent too) Brandon could work as a surf instructor and I could work in a surf shop on the boardwalk or whatever. Then reality set back in. But we had the best time hanging out at Cousin Jeff's with his gf Laura. They were so much fun to be with. Here a just a few pictures. I really WISH I had taken more...

Driving around the town

Beach Boardwalk....

SMILES

The little one was all tuckered out from no naps. zzzz

The tiny dots are surfers... EVERYONE surfs there. I saw this old lady coming out of the water with her board... she had to be at least 60 and then there was this dad taking his little girl out.. maybe 3 years old :)

Ready or Not... HERE I come

One day while cooking dinner I stepped out of the kitchen for a minute to do something random. When I returned to the kitchen I didn't stop to think about Tylee. I knew she was somewhere around so I didn't think much about it. Our house is just about babyproofed everywhere. We keep the bathroom door closed and the harmful things out of reach for a small toddler so I wasn't too worried. The next thing I knew I was hearing her "talking" from under me. I looked around my feet but she wasn't there. I then heard her banging and looked down... This is where I found her.

Crawling in and out again :)

Hey thanks for the carrot mom. I think I'll take this with me as I go :)

The PoTaToe SCARE

I was making dinner for Brandon and another one of the sales reps and I was cutting some potatoes. Tylee was on the floor playing with all of our dishes... AS ALWAys. I was frying the potatoes and having my daily talk with my momma when I looked down and see tylee gagging. She had somehow gotten a piece of raw potatoe and of course the first place it goes is in her mouth. So I started patting her back and tried to help her get it out when she completely stops all noises. She is just gagging and starting to almost foam at the mouth. I turned her over and upside down and smacked on her back and nothing was working. It felt like for a moment I was really going to lose her. I then stuck a part of my finger into her mouth and down her throat to push the potato. It helped and she then threw up the potato and a bunch of other gunk from inside of her. It was a very scary ordeal. It made me think about how precious life really is and how in a moments time everything could change. I was really grateful for the intuition and spirit I had to know what to do... and by the way I then finished the conversation with my mom :)

Here is the little diaper girl being the cook in our kitchen

UPdates!!!

So once again I have been neglecting the blog... but I have been really busy doing things so I can justify it. Here is what you've been missing out on the past couple weeks.

I got brandon some treats at the store that he could take with him in his lunches when he goes and knocks doors. I decided to leave a little message for him...

Then Mother's Day came and went. We went to Antioch and celebrated with some of the other mother's in Brandon's and Brett's (Brandon's cousin) families. It was a bunch of fun. I  got this cute goblet from Calaigh! Can you say AWESOME!! I love it :)

One day while walking home from doing our laundry in the office apartment with Tylee in her stroller, I felt a tiny little wet drip on my arm. It felt almost like the tiniest raindrop. I was under a tree so I looked up and saw a bird. Then knowing it was probably bird poop, I looked all around my legs and feet for the poop. I couldn't find it anywhere so I turned back around to the stroller and.....

I FOUND IT!!!!!

HA AHA AHA HA HA AH so funny... but the poor little girl had it all over in her hair. She didn't know what to think.

We went home and it was straight to the bath tub for her... she didn't mind that at all!!!

Then while trying to get her dressed I had to chase her naked little bum all around the living room while holding her diaper as she is laughing.... This is a daily routine.
                                                              But.................. I WON!!!

Tylee loves to empty everything out of all of the cupboards and drawers that she can reach... This time I was trying to come in and clean everything up and she started to push me out of the kitchen... she is way too smart for her own good as well as mine.... I have a little stinker on my hands.

"Francisco" - thats a fun word

Ghirardelli Square
Of course we had to visit the famous Ghirardelli chocolate factory and get some yummy chocolates. Then we went and got some ice cream and I am pretty sure that Tylee ate more than 1/2 of the shake that was for me and Brandon to share. What you do for kids.....

Like mother like daughter - You can tell she loves it!!

More things San Fran has to offer:

This doesn't even do it justice but the streets there are so so so so SOSO steep. It's crazy. They park their cars almost sideways.

LuMbAR Street: aka - the crookedest street in the WoRLd

My world revolves around these two...... Literally

$ PRICELESS $

The wildlife there was pretty fun...

This lil guy was quite far from the pier 39... at least he can swim

Last but not least... The Golden Gate:

The golden gate bridge took 4 years to build.
Eleven men were killed during the construction
It is 1.7 mi long including the entrances
There are 128 lights installed on the bridge roadway
It is one of my favorite places
